On May 12, 1994, 43-year-old Christopher Allen Zahl was last seen in Holmdel, New Jersey. The following day, his car was discovered abandoned at the Red Bank train station. Inside the vehicle were his wallet, credit cards, and eyeglasses, but there was no sign of Zahl himself. Disturbingly, the car had been wiped clean of any fingerprints, suggesting a deliberate attempt to erase evidence.
