Between June and August 1990, George Russell committed a series of heinous murders in the Seattle area. Each crime involved sexual assault, mutilation, and the deliberate staging of the victims' bodies to shock and horrify those who discovered them.Victims
- Mary Ann Pohlreich (27 years old): Found on June 23, 1990, in Bellevue, Washington, behind a restaurant's parking lot. She had been strangled, and her body was posed with her arms crossed and her eyes covered with a plastic lid.
- Carol Marie Beethe (35 years old): Discovered on August 9, 1990, in her Bellevue apartment. Her head was beaten, and her body was staged with a shotgun pointed towards her. She was found by her 13-year-old daughter.
- Andrea Sue "Randi" Levine (24 years old): Found on September 3, 1990, in King County, Washington. She had been brutally beaten with an aluminum baseball bat and stabbed multiple times. Her body was posed with a book and a sex toy.
