In the late hours of a Tuesday night in St. Louis, the sound of gunfire shattered the relative quiet of a park area near the Soldier's Memorial Museum and City Hall. It was around 11:30 p.m. on May 10, 2022, when officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 1300 block of Market Street in the Downtown West neighborhood following a call for shots fired.
