On the early morning of May 14, 2022, violence erupted in a parking lot located at 313 North Boonville Avenue in Springfield, Missouri. At approximately 1:48 a.m., officers from the Springfield Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the downtown location. Upon their arrival, first responders discovered a chaotic scene where two men had sustained gunshot wounds.
