On the afternoon of June 13, 2022, a violent discovery was made in the West Bottoms area of Kansas City, Missouri. Just after noon, police officers were dispatched to the vicinity of 12th and Genessee Streets following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located the body of 65-year-old male Floyd Henton beneath the Interstate 670 overpass.
