DaMarion Kentrell Benjamin, an 18-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on July 7, 2022. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 4:40 a.m., near East 51st Street and Lawn Avenue. When Kansas City police arrived at the scene, they found Benjamin's body partially in the grass and street, with apparent gunshot wounds to his head and body. Spent shell casings were also discovered nearby, leading authorities to rule his death as a homicide.
