On Friday, July 29, 2022, 27-year-old male Deolandis Dabney was fatally shot while traveling in a vehicle on Interstate 55 in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway near Gasconade Street. Authorities reported that Dabney was a backseat passenger in the car when he was struck by gunfire. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. Two other individuals present in the vehicle at the time of the shooting were uninjured.
