Darrell Carter Jones Jr., a 27-year-old resident of Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically lost his life on October 1, 2022. The incident occurred following an argument with his friend, Laveal D. Jones II, as they were returning home from a nightclub in Sauget. The altercation, which was reportedly about money, escalated into a physical fight. During the struggle, Laveal Jones, who was on parole for a previous robbery conviction, seized Darrell's gun and shot him twice.
