On the night of May 13, 2019, a violent tragedy unfolded in the Penrose neighborhood of North St. Louis, Missouri, claiming the lives of four men. Police officers were summoned to a residence where they discovered a harrowing scene involving multiple gunshot victims. Among the deceased was 27-year-old Kenneth Lee III, a male resident of the area, who was found alongside three other victims inside the home.
The incident, which occurred late that Monday evening, marked one of the deadliest single events in the city that year.
Authorities identified the other victims as 30-year-old Brendan Lee Williams, 28-year-old Ray Howard, and 42-year-old Robert Williams Jr. Three of the men were pronounced dead at the scene by first responders, while the fourth succumbed to his injuries days later at a local hospital. A fifth individual who was also present at the location was shot in the leg but survived the attack.
