Camila Behrensen, a 24-year-old predoctoral researcher at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research in Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically found dead on October 1, 2022. Her body, along with that of her colleague Pablo Guzmán Palma, was discovered in their apartment after firefighters responded to a blaze in the building.
