Kasandra Perkins, a 22-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost her life on December 1, 2012. She was shot multiple times by her boyfriend, Jovan Belcher, who was a linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs. The incident occurred in the couple's home, where Perkins was found with fatal gunshot wounds.
