On November 6, 2019, tragedy struck in Kansas City, Missouri, resulting in the death of 37-year-old Kimberly Harris. The violent sequence of events began in the early evening hours within the 3200 block of Brighton Avenue, a residential area where gunfire erupted. Police later determined this location to be the primary crime scene where Harris sustained life-threatening injuries during a shooting incident.
Following the attack, a desperate attempt was made to save her life.
Harris was transported by private vehicle away from the scene of the shooting, ultimately arriving at a McDonald's restaurant located at 31st Street and Van Brunt Boulevard. Despite the efforts to get her to safety and medical aid, Harris succumbed to her wounds and was pronounced dead.
