John Ruskin Foster, a 35-year-old special agent with the Alcohol Tax Unit, tragically lost his life on May 14, 1936, near St. John Lake, Indiana. Foster and his colleague, Special Agent Guy Goodin, were on a special assignment when they pursued a suspicious black Ford coupe.
