In the spring of 2014, the life of Cortez D Moton, a 19-year-old male from Indianapolis, was tragically cut short. On April 29, 2014, Moton was shot and killed at an apartment complex on the northwest side of the city. The incident left his family, including his mother Shaundra Moton, grappling with a profound and sudden loss.
