In the early morning hours of September 2, 2021, the life of Koebe Clopton, a 20-year-old male student and football player for the University of Indianapolis, was tragically cut short. Officers were dispatched to the northeast side of Indianapolis after receiving a report of a person shot. It is believed that Clopton himself may have been the one to call 911, reporting that he had been shot.
