Margaret Mary 'Peggy' Gill, aged 24, was tragically murdered on March 3, 1989, in Merrillville, Indiana. Peggy was working the night shift at a Days Inn located at 8290 Louisiana Street when the incident occurred. The motel was robbed, and Peggy was found dead from gunshot wounds to the head. This brutal crime shocked the local community and initiated a complex investigation.
