On a cold December evening in Goshen, Indiana, a knock at the door tragically ended the life of 30-year-old Christopher L. Harrison. When Goshen Police responded to a shooting at the 1811 Westplains Apartments on December 6, 2006, they discovered Harrison inside an apartment, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound. The male resident, known to friends as 'Ce-Lo,' was found in the kitchen.
Investigators determined that Harrison had answered a knock at the apartment door when he was shot by an
unknown assailant. A witness to the event reported seeing only the arm of the shooter, described as a Black male, as he extended a silver handgun and fired, striking Harrison in the head. The suspect immediately fled the scene, leaving the firearm behind. Born in Roanoke, Alabama, on March 29, 1976, Harrison had been working as a detailer at a local car wash at the time of his death.
Despite the recovery of the weapon and an immediate investigation by the Goshen Police Department, the homicide of Christopher Harrison remains unsolved. Authorities have not publicly identified any suspects in the years following the shooting, and no arrests have been made. The case continues to be an open and active investigation, with law enforcement still seeking information that could lead to the apprehension of the person responsible for Harrison's death.
