On April 23, 2022, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Goshen Police Department responded to a shooting incident at the 7-11 store located at 2200 Elkhart Road, Goshen, Indiana. Upon arrival, officers found 27-year-old Santino Garcia suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Garcia was immediately transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries the following day, April 24, 2022.
