On a crisp autumn evening in Petersburg, Virginia, the life of a beloved teenager was tragically cut short. De’shone Taylor-Brown, a 17-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on November 7, 2019. Known affectionately as "Kash," De'shone was a student at Petersburg High School, where he was known for his infectious smile and beautiful spirit.
