John Laco, an 84-year-old resident of Lake Station, Indiana, tragically lost his life on December 9, 2014, in a police-involved shooting. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Lake Station City Hall. According to reports, Laco fired a single round from a 16-gauge shotgun into the air before police arrived.
