In the early hours of a Wednesday in March, the life of 55-year-old Mark Andrew Brant was tragically cut short in what has been described as a road rage shooting on Interstate 94 in Lake Station, Indiana. Mark, a former teacher for the South Bend School Corporation, was a man who found joy in the outdoors.
He had a passion for activities such as skiing, hiking, gardening, and bicycling. His love for music was expressed through his drumming in a garage band. In his high school years, he was also a member of the wrestling team. In 2018, he relocated to Chesterton to build a future with his beloved partner, Megan C. LaFollette.
