Demetrius Taye-Shaun Harbour, a 17-year-old male, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022. A student at Edison Jr./Sr. High School in Lake Station, Indiana, he was known to friends and family as 'Meeci'.

The evening of his death, authorities responded to an incident around 8:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of Gibson Street in Lake Station. The Lake County Coroner's Office determined that Harbour's death was a homicide resulting from a penetrating wound. He was a victim of gun violence.
