In the early evening of December 22, 2014, the life of 21-year-old Darius Courtland Rose, a male resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically cut short. At approximately 5:50 p.m., in the 700 block of Roache Street on the city's near-north side, Rose was shot. He was quickly transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
