Death by Force

Breona Major, a 23-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost her life on April 25, 2015. She was fatally shot multiple times in the 2300 block of Clark Road, where she also resided. The Lake County coroner's office pronounced her dead at approximately 8:15 p.m. on the same day, and her death was officially ruled a homicide. Breona was a graduate of Merrillville High School, class of 2010, and was remembered fondly by those who knew her.
