Ivana Jenkins, a 31-year-old woman from Gary, Indiana, tragically lost her life on June 16, 2021, in a violent incident at a gas station. The events leading to her death began when she visited a Citgo gas station to get an order of nachos for her daughter. While inside the gas station, Jenkins encountered two men, Daniel L. Malone, Jr., and Terry Thomas, who cut in line in front of her. This led to a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical confrontation outside the gas station.
