On a late summer evening in Gary, Indiana, the life of 31-year-old Temica Spencer was tragically cut short. On Tuesday, August 29, 2017, police responded to a call of a shooting at approximately 10:10 p.m. in the 500 block of Mount Street. Upon arrival, they found Spencer suffering from a gunshot wound.
