In the spring of 2018, the life of 20-year-old Quan Harmon, a Black male from Newark, New Jersey, was tragically cut short in an act of violence that also claimed the life of his older brother. On the evening of April 25th, Quan and his 21-year-old brother, Quamir Harmon, were on the 900 block of Bergen Street in their hometown of Newark. Shortly before 9:30 p.m., both brothers were shot.
