Mohamedtaha Omar, a 23-year-old resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was tragically killed on February 24, 2016, in what authorities described as an "execution-style" murder. Omar, along with Adam Kamel Mekki, 20, and Muhannad Adam Tairab, 17, were found dead in a house on East Lewis Street. The victims, all of East African descent, were discovered with multiple gunshot wounds on the ground floor of the house, which was known locally as a "party house" frequented by young people.
