Death by Force

John Lee Hennington, a 15-year-old resident of Hammond, Indiana, tragically lost his life on July 7, 2016. He was shot around 1:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Cleveland Street, the same block where he lived. Despite being rushed to Franciscan St. Margaret Health in Hammond, he was pronounced dead at 2:06 a.m. The Lake County coroner's office ruled his death a homicide.
