Eddie L. Stringer, a 59-year-old man from Indianapolis, was found dead on March 14, 2016. His body was discovered inside a vehicle, and an investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) revealed that he had been murdered. The details of his death initially raised questions, but the case was soon classified as a homicide following an autopsy, which confirmed that Stringer had not died of natural causes.
