On the evening of October 16, 2016, 36-year-old Hispanic female Reyna Elida Ramirez-Coronado was present at a location in the 4700 block of Warsaw Street, near Lafayette Street in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Just after 7:30 p.m. on that Sunday night, local law enforcement received reports of shots fired in the area. When officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered a chaotic situation involving two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
