On January 29, 2024, 17-year-old Adaija Armani Okey and 18-year-old Lamarion Jeremiah Bailey were found shot and killed in a parked car in the 700 block of Romy Avenue in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. in a residential area just off the St. Joseph River in the Northside neighborhood, north of downtown Fort Wayne. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
