On the evening of January 3, 2023, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, 18-year-old Jocelyn Marlene Bolf was fatally shot while inside a vehicle, marking the city's first homicide of the year. The young woman, a mother, was with her boyfriend at the time of the attack, which also left him in a life-threatening condition. The shooting occurred in the 2500 block of South Anthony Boulevard.
