In the autumn of 2016, the life of 30-year-old Anton Javon Moore, a Black male from Fort Wayne, Indiana, was tragically cut short. On the morning of October 19, 2016, his body was discovered in a ditch off Fairfield Avenue. The Allen County Coroner's Office would later confirm that he had died from gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
