Lonneisha Wellington, a 23-year-old woman from Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost her life on April 3, 2017. The incident occurred at the Phoenix Apartments on Meadows Drive, where Lonneisha and her husband, Alexis Wellington, were returning home with groceries. As they entered the stairwell, they were confronted by an assailant who demanded they put down their groceries.
