In an attempt to cover up his crime, he asked a witness who was present at the home to lie to the police and claim that an intruder was the shooter. This witness, another woman, was the one who rushed Christen to the hospital.
Despite his claims that he 'didn't mean to kill her,' the investigation revealed a pattern of verbal and physical abuse. Following his arrest, Jagger Williams was found guilty of the murder of Christen Brown. In August 2018, he was sentenced to 48 years in prison for his crime.
