Khalil Carter, a 19-year-old resident of Hammond, Indiana, was tragically killed on October 31, 2017, in a shooting incident that also left three others wounded. The shooting occurred in the afternoon at an apartment in the 500 block of Pointe Drive. According to reports, Carter and the other victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds when officers arrived at the scene.
