Jacob Walerko, a 25-year-old resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, tragically lost his life on November 23, 2017. He was working at the Meijer gas station on Lima Road when he was fatally shot in the head by Victor Rivera. The incident occurred on Thanksgiving Day, and Rivera used a sawed-off shotgun to commit the crime. After shooting Walerko, Rivera stole a carton of cigarettes and fled the scene.
