In the early morning hours of December 23, 2017, the life of 18-year-old Delonte Corvon Walker Ross, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Gunshots echoed on Oxford Street, prompting a police response to a home around 3:20 a.m. Inside, officers discovered a grim scene: Walker Ross was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
