On March 30, 2018, 28-year-old Russell Lontrell Chase Sr. of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life to gun violence. The incident occurred in Gary's Midtown neighborhood on a Friday night. Following his death, visitation services were held on April 6, 2018, at Manuel Memorial "Parlor of Peace" Funeral Home in Gary, with the funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM.
