In the early evening of April 8, 2019, the life of 21-year-old Keyontae Lamarr Jones, a Black/African American male, was cut tragically short on North O'Brien Street in South Bend, Indiana. Around 6:45 p.m., the sound of gunfire prompted a ShotSpotter notification, dispatching South Bend Police to the scene.
