Michael Eugene "Champ" LoVett, aged 46, tragically lost his life on April 9, 2019, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. LoVett, a beloved barbershop owner, was fatally shot outside his establishment, the Legendary Barber Shop, located at 1718 Lake Avenue. The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m., when Fort Wayne police and medics responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found LoVett suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
