On June 4, 2019, at approximately midnight, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3400 block of Auburn Road on the city's west side. Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle with a shattered windshield and 47-year-old Stephanie Harris inside, who had been fatally shot.
