On the evening of April 17, 2012, Sharon Louise Toran, a 23-year-old female, was fatally shot in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred at approximately 10:20 p.m. in the 3700 block of Layman Avenue as she was getting her two young daughters out of her car. Her estranged husband, Miles Toran, who was 23 at the time, emerged from nearby bushes and opened fire.
