Ashley Renea Sanders, 26, a Black woman, was found shot inside a home on the near west side of Indianapolis late on the night of October 28, 2025. Police were dispatched just before 11:45 p.m. to the 1400 block of West 34th Street near Harding Street; medics pronounced her dead at the scene soon after officers initially reported her condition as critical.
