On September 6, 2024, Kierra Danielle Dotson, a 37-year-old woman, was fatally injured in a shooting on the west side of Indianapolis. The incident occurred in the 3000 block of Lupine Drive, where Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers responded to reports of shots fired just before 7 p.m..
