Alvin 'Wayne' Bickell, a 63-year-old male, passed away on August 1, 2019, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana. Born in Claremore, Oklahoma, on November 26, 1955, he was a resident of Columbus at the time of his death. Mr. Bickell was a veteran, having served in both the Indiana and Oklahoma Army National Guard. He was also a 20-year member of the IBEW Local 481.
He was survived by his wife, Beverly, whom he married on February 28, 1976, as well as his mother, children, a
brother, a sister, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother. A private service was held following a public calling, with military honors provided by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard. Online sources do not indicate any arrests or suspects in relation to his death, and no foul play is mentioned.
