Michael Alan Sporleder, aged 69, passed away on December 12, 2016, at his residence in Columbus, Indiana. Born on December 31, 1946, in Jennings County, he was the son of Oliver Sporleder Sr. and Margaret Louise Smith Sporleder. Michael was a Vietnam War veteran, having served in the U.S. Army from June 14, 1966, to June 13, 1972. He worked for Cummins Engine Company in Columbus for 45 years before retiring in 2010.
