In the late summer of 2019, a life was tragically cut short in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Corey Appleberry, a 29-year-old male, found himself in a heated altercation on the evening of September 11th. The dispute, which took place in the 2700 block of Euclid Avenue on the city's southeast side, was with a male relative. The exact nature of their disagreement remains unclear, but it escalated to a point of no return when a gunshot rang out, striking Appleberry in the abdomen.
