In the autumn of 2019, the life of 22-year-old Lamont Andrew Day Jr., a male resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically cut short. On October 7, 2019, Day became a victim in a double homicide that unfolded at the Southport Crossing Apartments on the south side of the city. The incident, which also resulted in the death of 24-year-old Gary Miller II, prompted a thorough and lengthy investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
